Covid

One down, one to go
Glad you've got one down. I can't get one until after my 65th birthday which won't be long now.
March 2nd, 2021
@marlboromaam we only started our vaccination programme down here mid February, I got mine so quickly because I'm a front line worker
March 2nd, 2021
well done. It will be a big relief for you to be protected.
March 2nd, 2021
@kjarn That's the way it is here. Medical people and those 65 and older.
March 2nd, 2021
@marlboromaam I would have thought they would have completed that sector of people by now over there. Are they moving slowly or does it depend where you live? My son lives in LA and he got his first shot the other day.
March 2nd, 2021
Oh well done, I wonder when it will be our turn.
March 2nd, 2021
Hurrah - rightly front of the queue!
March 2nd, 2021
Be safe 🙏❤️
March 2nd, 2021
the side effects are almost the same as covid symptoms. how are you doing?
March 2nd, 2021
@summerfield Apart from a sore arm for a day, no side effects for me
March 2nd, 2021
@kjarn - great to know. stay healthy.
March 2nd, 2021
Yay! Congratulations.
March 3rd, 2021
Good for you!
March 3rd, 2021
Oh wow you’ve got it already, we haven’t heard anything about ours yet
March 3rd, 2021
I had my second vaccine (Moderna) around noon today.
March 3rd, 2021
@erinr that’s not good, I assumed that all states would be on the same page 😢
March 3rd, 2021
@randystreat congratulations! We only have the Pfizer at the moment and it’s only for frontline workers. I hear that masses of Astra Zeneca will be arriving soon so we can expand the programme
March 3rd, 2021
@kjarn We didn't get to choose but they have both the Pfizer and Modern in our county. I got it because of my age. So rare that being old has perks.
March 3rd, 2021
Yay for you! We've had both Pfizers, thanks to being elderly.
March 3rd, 2021
How wonderful, hope you had none of those symptoms.
March 3rd, 2021
@ludwigsdiana my arm was sore the next day but that was all
March 3rd, 2021
Woo hoo for you! Still waiting...
March 3rd, 2021
Great Kathy, so pleased for you, you need every protection for your work...
March 3rd, 2021
Wahey!
March 3rd, 2021
Yeah! Hope you’ve non of the side effects.
March 3rd, 2021
Oooh lovely, well done. My hubby gets his first this weekend as they are currently doing over 60s. I'm a mere slip of a girl at 57, so I don't get one yet LOL!! Glad you had no real side effects. The Pfizer one doesn't seem to give people side effects, whereas the AZ often does. But either way, it's better than the disease!
March 3rd, 2021
@boxplayer thank you for the fav
March 3rd, 2021
Well done - Both myself and wife have had the Pfizer jab. Me because I'm an oldy and my wife because she's a vulnerable. Neither had any side effects except for a nagging ache in the arm for a couple of days :-) Roll on the second jab. BTW the organisation at the vaccination site was fantastic (The Steam Museum, Swindon)
March 3rd, 2021
@jon_lip great to hear! I’m not looking forward to the sore arm again but what must be must be. I’m in Australia and the organisation at the site I went to was fantastic too
March 3rd, 2021
Good to hear that you got your vaccination - another step on the way back to normality (we hope!).

Good that you have had the first one. I am waiting for second one. Either end of this month or sometime next month.
March 3rd, 2021
Good for you- I'm glad those who work where exposure is high are being taken care of first.
March 4th, 2021
Yay, good news!
Funny thing you were off my list of ppl that I follow. Don't know how that happened! So I missed a few of your shots. Going to go back now and check them out. I realized because it's 3/3 and I didn't see your monthly book list! 😕

@jb030958 I was only wondering this morning why you hadn’t commented for the last week.
