That's sad- are new retail outlets going in? Probably not- when buildings are demolished around here it's usually to make way for housing.

@marlboromaam @casablanca @olivetreeann I have no idea what will be going there, there’s no information posted up anywhere. I hope it’s another shopping centre as it was nice to be able to walk to get a few groceries but I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up being housing.

i hope that the shops relocated instead of just closing for good. but yes, it's the same here, when they demolish it's to make way for condos that are so tall but the units are so small and ridiculously overpriced that owners turn them into airbnb. nice capture.
