@boxplayer it is really awful over here, so many homes, businesses and lives lost and still over a week of rain ahead apparently. The SES couldn’t fix my leak because apparently the ridge capping is completely loose so they put up a tarp covering the roof. Now I just hope it stays in place until the weather improves and I can get the roof fixed.
@sugarmuser according to the SES guys the entire length of ridge capping was leaking, all the insulation got soaked, they say I was lucky it only came through the ceiling in three places. They put up a tarp and hopefully it will stay in place until this rain stops. I will need to get the roof fixed and three ceilings repaired. Thank you for the fav too
Beautiful- oh my I hope the rain stops soon and also that your roof holds up until it does. It's usually the extremes that expose a weakness in your home so it's not surprising it took a monsoon to reveal the problem with the ridge capping. Hang in there!
By reading the comments above I can tell that the roof didn’t get better, so sorry. More rain too??? Oh my goodness. I hoping for an end to your rain as I know that you are too.
I think I faved this photo once before, but it deserves another! I think you should print it and have it framed!
