I think eventually everyone will get this virus at least once. But I'm glad to say, for all the folks, yourself included, who have gotten it recently, the symptoms have been very mild or non-existent unless they have some other health issue going on. Even then it's not as bad as what it used to be. I would never want anyone to go through what I went through!
@olivetreeann I think you are right in that we will all get this virus, I know many people into their second dose. I’m not sure that it’s not as bad as it used to be especially down here as we are still getting lots of daily deaths and our hospitals are still quite full. My son in law, who is young and fit, has it at the moment and he’s quite sick with it but I have virtually no symptoms at all. I also wouldn’t want anyone else to have to go through what you went through, you are so lucky to have survived.
@kjarn I was very blessed indeed and my heart breaks when I hear of so many who suffered and/or suffered and didn't make it. Some have said to me that it's survivor's guilt. I don't know that for sure, but I am praying for your son-in-law that all will be well soon- for both of you.
