OK I don't know if I will make every day, but I'm going to take Richard up on the nifty fifty - adjusting for my particular camera (huge thanks for the conversion, I wouldn't have known where to start on that!)
I love these gumnuts, the largest of all the eucalypts I have here, and I may use this tree a few times through the month as it was really challenging to photograph them the way I wanted without changing the zoom.
Any critique during this challenge will be most gratefully accepted as I'm keen to learn!
@elatedpixie yes I believe they are quite popular there! not sure which ones have done best over there. this one is actually native to western Australia and is a small tree with huge flowers and gum nuts. the koala trees are huge trees with small flowers and gum nuts :)
