@beryl ah no yours is beautiful too, but a different type. this is designed to grow on a tree trunk and is probably a fair age, I've had it for over 8 years now. this is the one the koala Orchid sat above this time last year you may remember :) https://365project.org/koalagardens/365/2017-09-01
I am still jealous but this is growing in its natural environment and as you say many years old while in defence of mine it is a little plant growing completely out of his natural environment ! :)
