Red Grevillea by koalagardens

Red Grevillea

Grevillea's are natives, however most of them in the nurseries are very much hybrids now as are so many things. I have quite a lot of different ones, I will try and get them all in here during March. They are of course hugely popular with all the nectar eating native birds and insects and even the fruit bats. Thank you for the awesome comments on my photos.
a beautiful grevillea - they are a favourite of mine, and I have a few too

what a great capture of an amazing plant - I've just wondered why it's called Grevillea and it's to do with an English sponsor of the Royal Horticultural Society
