Trying out the macro lens I bought with my new camera - can't wait to start classes next week as I really have no idea how to drive it properly! Still I've framed up this tiny mushroom for July, it's about the size of my little fingernail.
I think you have done a fabulous job. The detail and focus is great and can be quite tricky with a macro lens, or at least it is for me. A wonderful photo with lovely DOF.
@kgolab thank you so much - I took about 30 shots and this was the only one I was happy with. I have buttons and dials and things on the side of the lens and I have no idea what they do, I just tried a lot of the settings. of course I have no idea which combination produced this - hence classes will be a great thing!
@sugarmuser it was a big thing for me in choosing what to get. I just can't beat the reach of my little powershot, so instead of trying, I went for a few other features, and getting a macro lens was a biggie for me. Can't wait for the insects of summer!
