I thought I would use the opportunity of getting both the male and female bower bird in the shot to show you a little more of the bird bath. I will try to get one showing the entire statue.
In this one you can that my back verandah is completely enclosed in fly screen and the entire backyard is garden, just a few pathways I have looping around the plants. No wonder I get such a variety of birds.
Again thank you all for the beautiful words of concern regarding the still ongoing fires - the roads not far south of me are now closed as one of the fires has gone over 50,000 hectares and is still out of control and jumped the major highway. My property is still far enough away to be considered safe.
