Well, the snow has finally stopped, and we got a sunny, clear day - beautiful with all that shimmery fresh snow. The thing is that clear here means colder temps and so I think our daytime high was about -13 Celsius. Brrr...
...And of course today is the day I decide we need to do an outdoor family picture as my husband is going away for a couple weeks and I want to get some Christmas cards made up. At least we didn't have to worry about what to wear, what with all our snow gear! And one of my best pictures is too hazy from our breath when we were saying 'Merry Christmas' to the camera!
@mah68 ~ Would you believe that this is the first skyline picture from the ridge that I have used in my project?! I think so, anyway... I've shot it countless times as a backup.
Haha, I DO find that hard to believe! Not such a bad "backup" location - must be nice to have it so close to your house! (Oooh, I just remembered ... what about the firework pics??)
@mah68 ~ none of my fireworks shots really show the skyline. Don't get me wrong, I have a ton of photos from along the ridge... the Ukrainian church, the fireworks, the grass, the manhole... I could go on ;)
Hi. I have finally had a chance to check out your album! You have alot of awesome shots (this one included).
For this week's get pushd challenge, I challenge you to do a self portrait that shows something about you. You have a lovely family and you share alot of images of them. Being a Mom, it's important to focus on you sometimes too!
