@seanoneill It's deep... cruise ships will start going by this month (not exactly where the kayaks are though). Just yesterday I saw sea lions go past. I've seen black porpoises probably 20 times and 4 Killers whales once a couple of months ago. Eagles are totally abundant along with herons, gulls, ducks, cormorants and other birds I don't know the name of. It's never boring!! I pinch myself everyday that we live here.
I'm still in awe each time I see your view! I have always wanted to move to B.C. (my aunt was in Maple Ridge) but now it's hard to even get out there to visit. I love my cottage but think I would jump at the chance of moving out there.
Such wonderful views to be surrounded with, the mountains, the water.....it must replenish your soul every day!
