We went on a helicopter ride this morning before my son's 11th birthday celebration. We bought a 20 minute ride at an auction fundraiser last year but wanted to wait until the house was done so we could do a fly by. If you look VERY closely you'll see my waving from the helicopter and my son (who turned 11 today) on the patio taking our picture. We terrified him when we flew over an active volcano in Hawaii a couple of years ago so he refused to go today. The ride was way out but you can see the ocean line along the beach where all the logs are piled up.

What a fantastic collage and a beautiful home. We have helicopter rides here and I have been meaning to book one to get an aerial view of our house too. Must do that one day.

Well Kim you must all be. Very proud of the stunning house you have all created. Loved watching every stage with you so it's just wonderful to see the whole magnificence! I recognise little bit such as my favourite wooden trees on the shoreline......so lovely to see all in context.

I knew your house was amazing and sensed the landscape, but wow....this is gorgeous!! What a beautiful house, architecturally, and then the setting is about as perfect as it gets. What a fun way to be able to capture it for all of us!
What a gorgeous piece of property and a beautiful place to call home! As I've come to know just a wee bit about you through your photos and travels up the coast, I could tell you were having a "heaven on earth" experience in life as well!! (And I love auctions and silent auctions as well! You never know what you might be bringing home! "Thrill of the hunt"!)
