wow, a totally stunning capture of this little fella, so much detail, colour and lighting. Love the contrast of the soft back ground, is this hard to achive, just asking as not long joined 365 and I have a lot to learn in using my camera. would love to follow your project. fav from me
@lovingandsharing This is virtually straight of the camera except for a little crop and tiny adjustments in colour and a flip. He was climbing UP my screen so I lined the lens flush with the screen. I chose my focal point (the bug) and had it on F3.0 which created the blurry edges. I think it was the fact that it was a screen and not a solid surface that created the interesting edges as the light did and did not go through it. I'm glad you like it!
@lovingandsharing One more thing in case you don't already know... Next to "Exif" in the box of photo details under my name you can click on that link. It will tell you the settings people use to capture their images. It's very helpful when first learning.
@kwind Hi and thank you for taking the time to reply. I am just learning about the Fmode ,ISO, and lighting. decided to start working in manual mode as just upgraded and purchased an entry level camera Nikon D3100 I have tried working in the modes but finding I can not get the results, so back to basics learning in manual. cheers for directing me to Exif I will find this very helpful to see which settings are use. :)
