Smoky Sunrise

British Columbia has MANY wildfires happening at the moment and the smoke has effected visibility where I live on Vancouver Island. The sun was red when it appeared this morning.

Looks fantastic but not so good for the folks in the Bush fire areas... I remember seeing simalar when there were bush fires in Australia and getting red tinges to the moon ... not as much as this though...

This is lovely. We have wildfires too in the northwest states, all our fires have been caused by lightning. The photos of the smoky skies are amazing but hard to see.

Oh dear the sun looks magnificent. It is so sad that the best skies photography wise are made because of terrible bushfires.
