@dogwoman Ruxton is a small island between Ladysmith and nanaimo on the east coast of Vancouver island. My dad bought the property before he was married. He just sold it to my sister and I. We used to hang out there in the summer as kids but as we got older and moved away the place was basically abandoned. We are working hard to finish and fix it up now. The island has no power or running water. It’s very remote and rustic.
Beautiful landscape. We are only a few island apart :) We have friends with a place on De Courcy that we visit regularly in the summer with our boat..... we pass right by you.
