We toured a LOT of castles while in Scotland but this was one of our favourites! We were able to explore so many nooks and crannies and the interior was beautifully decorated (no inside photos allowed though) and the setting on the loch is out of this world. The only thing that would have made it better was if it was high tide!
You certainly saw this favourite castle in fantastic light.
My sister lives over the hill and sometimes when we have been there on grey days it can look rather gloomy.
