Steve's boss took him golfing on Nantucket at Sankaty Light today and he took this photo on his regular old cell phone. We don't have iPhones or even good phones because we don't want to pay the extra monthly fee for a data plan, so I was doubly impressed that his phone photo was better than anything I shot today. The technical quality isn't the best, but I was pretty proud of his capture. He is so patient with me and my photo obsession that I wanted to give a shout out to him.
What a great capture of Sankaty Head! A couple years back, my husband and I rented bikes and rode all over Nantucket, and I remember riding past the golf course your husband shot this from. What a gorgeous spot!
@melissapike I thought it was so sweet that he took a photo for me while he was golfing so I could see it too. Of course I was working, so I was a bit envious when this photo showed up in my inbox.
How pretty! I love those colors. Funny - I thought about posting a guest photo of my husband's the other day - you may have seen it on facebook. He got some great shots of the shuttle at Randy's Donuts (with the giant donut). His cell phone shot was the one I posted, and it blew away anything I shot that day!
