Young Red Footed Booby seems to be saying "what are you doing down there?"
This inquisitive and goofy young bird seemed as interested in me as I was in him. He was perched on a tree overhanging the road as I drove beneath. This shot was taken through the windscreen.
The ground underneath all the nesting trees is speckled white with guano, I wear a hat to try to ensure I do not end up similarly bespeckled
@bella_ss thanks, one of the things that is great is the lack of predators (wit the exception of feral cats) so many of the birds are a lot easier to approach
