Snorkelling Coconut Bar Beach, Los Negros, Manus, PNG

We went t the beach and went snorkelling. The water was a lovely temperature, fish life was wonderful and abundant, so many beautiful colourful species.
This is a new underwater camera - a basic point and shoot suitable for snorkelling and down to a depth of 15 m. Some of the photos looked amazing when I took them and were a complete disappointment on the computer screen. I hope to have plenty more snorkelling outings to improve my skills. Sadly there are no scuba facilities on the island, otherwise I'd want my bigger underwater housing and housing and be diving whenever I could.

These are probably juvenile fish, I am not sure of the species nd haven't looked them up yet, my fish books are at home and I;ve not yet opened the e-books.
I see these guys heaps underwater. No idea what they are.

@bobfoto the TG-2 survived its first swim - I do see what you mean about the macro mode, need to be super close to get focus
