Had a great time at the Howard County Fair. Let's see rabbits, sheep, cows, horses, 4H kids, rides, food, pig and duck races just to name a few. Lasted four hours but the temps in the high 90's finally wore me out. Got some great shots today.
@spock I didn't ask but they are in a big barn out of the sun. Think they have been shaved and washed and are waiting to go be judged and this keeps them clean.
Now that is funny -- looks like horses blankies and hoods...could be just to keep them clean before showing...or if recently shave to protect them a bit...that is soooooooo funny. Great catch.
@darsphotos Darlene there was one air conditioned building and two that had fans where the crafts, vegs, and flowers were judged. Plus a pavillion for the judging. I rested when I needed and drank water to stay hydrated . Looking forward to fall....
