The things I have seen. The things I have done. The things I have learned. It has been an amazing adventure with my camera this year. While I started this project to learn how to use my new DSLR it slowly opened my eyes to the world you take for granted. The sky and clouds are amazing and I fell in love taking sunset and sunrise pictures. The grass, flowers, trees, and yes weeds took on a whole new meaning. Insects who takes pictures of spiders, bees, butterflies, and Praying Mantis? I did and had a blast doing it. I traveled near and far looking for my picture of the day and always found it , although not always what I went for. I need to thank my husband for putting up with what turned into an obsession. My friends and family that tagged along on some of my outing and at times became my POTD. While I don't plan to religiously take a picture a day this coming year I will always be taking pictures because it's something I love doing. A normal year has 365 days but I happened to pick leap year for my project so actually one more to go.......................
Congratulations, Leslie! I hope you will keep posting as you occasionally shoot! Love this cute shot . the shaped bokeh is something I still haven't mastered!
Well done on getting through 365 days! Amazing achievement and something you will look back on in years to come. Fantastic photos as well by the way :)
It does say 100% so very well done - there are a lot of us completing the year about now so hope there will always be some more to follow! I agree with you wholeheartedly on what you say!
@grammyn well I haven't made the top 20 so how can I leave, I might be here forever... LOL My first try at the shaped boken. Had some black tissue paper from a christmas gift so I used that with my star punch. My 300 lens has a hood so I cut the paper, lining up the punched out star in the middle on the lens and held it on the hood with a rubber band. Seemed to work okay. The hard part for me with getting the distance from the tree , little bear, and camera.
@tommiel thanks Linda I also enjoy your pictures and I will post even if a lot are fillers...I have so many that didn't make it ... Guess I'll open that third album for 2013
That's going out in style! What a wonderful "365" celebration shot. I'll be posting mine as well but I'm waiting to see if there will be a decent sunset before I make my final decision! And, I could very well write the same thing...your description fits my 365 experience, too! So, now...I will have to think of something different!!! Fave!
Lovely starry bokeh!
