Octobers full moon is called the Hunter’s Moon. Believed to have gotten it's name because it signaled the time to go hunting in preparation for the cold winter ahead. I think this is a planes trail going across the moon. Only shot that has it in it. Two more months and I will have my complete dozen.
I had to send my Nikon P950 in for repairs about 5 weeks ago. I must say I give their service department an A+ from start to finish. The LCD screen had a problem and when I called to start the process for warranty repair ( camera was only 3 months old) a got an actual knowledgable person on the line with no wait time. AMAZING ....After explaining the problem and going through quite a few fixes with him over the phone with no results fixing it, he emailed me a service ticket to send it in. I sent it through the post office with tracking and insurance. Nikon received the camera in 3 days. Not hearing from them for a week I sent an email to the service tech I had talked to and he got back to me that day saying yes it was received but they were backed up and it would be a couple more days till it was looked it. Three days later I got an email from service and a link to check on camera. First time I checked it said " in shop" , next day it said " parts hold" CRAP .... the wait was on ..... finally checking last week the message changed to "in shop" Woo Hoo the part must have finally come in. Got an email Monday that my camera was on it's way home and it arrived today just in time for a full moon capture😀
I was wondering about that line myself. The moonshot is stunning! You have done a magnificent job with all of these this year so far! I am very glad your camera got back in time
