Tenacious chicory

The beautiful hedges of chicory are blooming everywhere this time of year. Sturdy enough to survive Iowa winters and to thrive beside dusty gravel roads, they are part of the charm of the Midwestern United States.
they are in full force here as well. love to see them along the road.
