The woolly bear caterpillars are supposed to predict the coming winter temperatures by the amount of brown in their middle section. It's just folklore but still fun.

Well, I'm hoping he's right, but I've also been told that when the Oaks drop a lot of acorns, it's supposed to be a cold winter. My Oaks disagree with this Wooly!
