@janeandcharlie As someone whose first job was a telephone operator, for my first 3 decades I never dreamed of wireless telephones! That was something you only saw on TV! Thanks for stopping by!
@lisammcloskey@merrelyn@suzanne234@bkbinthecity Thanks so much for dropping by and commenting - really appreciate it! Isn't it a fun thing to have around? Hope I can find someone to repair it!
@bill_fe LOL - thanks, Bill. Nope, definitely not wireless. And, yes, I still have my landline/cord attached to the wall phone in the kitchen - just can't turn loose!
Looks like this one's OFF LINE what with it having no line between earpiece and the body. (I'm sure those aren't the technical terms for the phone parts.) Always did like dialing a number on these phones. That was when we KNEW peoples' numbers. Speed dial has stolen that away from our brains...
Very interesting subject. If you still have a landline in your kitchen you should be able to use this I'm certain you can still find cords for it unless this one didn't have the plug-in type of cord. Your choice of black-and-white is perfect for this vintage subject
