My husband will be coming home from the hospital today, so I took some time this morning to go out and shoot some pictures as it could be a while before I am able to do so. This pond is near and dear to all the hearts of those of us who grew up here, have lived here all of our lives, and also to those who have visited during the summer months. Many fond memories have been created here-band concerts, fireworks, fishing, skating, picnics with the kids,feeding the ducks (no longer allowed) and just hanging out on the bandstand with friends. A very special place.
