A shot of one of the local news station's coverage of the explosions at the Boston Marathon this afternoon. Chaos and fear unfolded as 2 explosives detinated near the finish line. Unfortunatly, 2 have died, over 50 injured in area hospitals. One of the hospitals is under lockdown and a swat team is present, as they question a person of interest inside. I took time off from the project during Lent to renew my relationship with God.(This is the 1st day I have been able to get back to the 365 due to my husband's health.) I pray for His intervention daily, to open the hearts and minds of all who are willing to hear Him. I'm glad to be back, and look forward to reconnecting with those of you I follow, and those who follow me. Please, if you are so inclined, pray for (and be kind to) each other
Welcome back Lizzy. Hope your husbands health improves. Just woke up to this news an hour ago. Very destressing. Begs the question Why?? Prayers are now needed for those whose lives have been directly affected. Thanks for posting this image
Oh my, what and why??? My daughter has run the marathon two or three years in the recent past. We've had a couple phone calls from friends asking is she was there for this year's run. No! Thankfullly. She's at home!
@kcman5 thanks, Cathy. I have missed the project and all of you. Thank you for the good wishes for my husband-the update is over 100 injured, quite a few of them children-one of the deceased was 8 years old. A very difficult day
It's wonderful to see you back here Lizzy, welcome back! As for Boston, what can I say? Such an evil act, but as you watch the videos, such good too, with many rushing to help those injured, despite the potential for further bombs.
