I had a list of photos I wanted to capture while here in Chicago and had a lot of fun trying get them! At the Rookery I had 4 minutes to capture the famous stairway, there were just seconds between lights to get a shot under the elevated trains, the Bean at any time was difficult with the crowds, but this was my favorite! Because parking was limited on the street and parking garages were very expensive, we drove in circles until we found a great bargain for $5.00 for 20 minutes! We parked and RAN to get a photo of the Tribune Tower at night. This isn't exactly the angle I wanted, but it's checked off my list! The best part was running, laughing and the cheers when we made it back to the garage with a minute to spare!
Simply outstanding!! It's a great capture of the Tribune Building. When I photograph at night on the river, from a bridge, I've sometimes had Jim drop me off and circle while I did the shot. But down at the river, I don't like being there on my own, so it's always a challenge!
