My first favorite flowering bush/tree when I first came to California in 1979. I love the fragrance! When we moved into this house in 1997 one of the first plants I chose was a pink oleander but as it grew and leaned over into my neighbor’s yard she told me it was poisonous and I should get rid of it! (along with the bird of paradise!)
