Being in the UK where advertisements and their proliferation are strictly controlled - I am always amazed by the amount of signage and street clutter seen in photos of that age - is it still the same (I have not been back to U.S for a few years). That siad I do like the idea for the image

@handymaurice : thanks Haydn. Signage in USA is quite varied. Different communities have different regulations. And existing stuff is usually "grandfathered" when ordinances change. It just depends.

I can't really compare to UK, have only been there once, and that was a business trip 15+ yrs ago.

It has been better than 15 years since I've been to UK (and a short trip that was)
