Randomness #20,159

Still can't make up my mind on this one... Just another street scene from one of my favored areas.

I was hoping for a "gritty" feel, but it just turned out muddy. There was a lot of digital noise in the image, which didn't really mesh too well with trying to simulate film grain. Oh well....

This is one where I see what I was thinking, rather than what I achieved.

I see what you are trying for, but it is tough with a phone. I can see why you like this area. Lots of interesting people are hanging out where the signs ask them not to. ;)

Some nice elements here, perhaps too many, but not 'gritty' . Maybe level it out too. I like the little boy and his cart.
