Gateway Grizzlies baseball.... Only 5 miles south-east of where the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team plays, but a world away. The Grizzlies are minor league baseball, in the Frontier League. The Frontier league is an independent league, not affiliated Major League Baseball teams. A more casual (and much less expensive!) experience than the majors.

I'm sure you can watch the big players on TV. This will provide a much more intimate and possibly more enjoyable experience. I like to watch soccer played by amateurs.. so much fun with all those errors! The super skilled pro games lose something.
@lostphojo THANKS! I enjoy the various levels of sports. The "unaffiliated" minor leagues is probably a small step above college ball. The atmosphere (in the stands, at least) is very casual.
