As noted a couple of months ago, I spent a couple of years dabbling in the world of microstock. Back 8-10 years ago. An interesting, and valuable experience, but with its own set of frustrations.
One of the key frustrations (besides zero tolerance for any sort of "noise"), was the requirement to remove any commercial content. Logos, names, license plates, etc. Anything recognizable. This is probably the most complex image I ever "cleaned", and it took a frightful amount of time. But it was accepted, and sold a few times through the years.
