Fungi

Nice spring day. Warm, sun shining and the nice breeze (about 30 mph). Pretty much took care of any type of nature photography. Walked a couple trails over at one of the parks and listened to the trees blowing into each other. Found this little fungus hiding around the back side of a tree.
cool little designs!

Very cool. I used my macro 10x filter today, but I've determined that the manual focus is killing me.

@layladolphin @jupiter394 Thanks Kayla, most of the fungus are really cool.
Judy, manual focus in macro can be really difficult. Check your manual for "live view". On mine I can use the screen to zoom in and check focus. The specs on your camera said it has 5x and 10x viewing for manual focus. The hardest thing about macro is the slightest movement will throw off the focus. When you zoom in you will be able to see the movement.

I've been playing with my diopter adjustment as I sit hear in bed. I need to memorize how many clicks for each eye so I can better focus. I don't know if using the screen would help since my eyes are contributing to the problem.

here - I hate when I do that.

@jupiter394 The diopter helps, I have one setting for glasses and another for when I take them off. Using the screen will not help with the eye problem but at least the view will be a lot bigger and you can definitely see wind movement.
