Great demonstrative diptych. My yellow magnolia produced a big flush of spring flowers and then a week ago one bloom that looked great when it first opened and then turned black within a day. I’ve seen before that ver cold weather in the spring can damage the flowers but now I’m wondering if the very hot weather we have been having has had the same effect.
