We had subzero temperatures a couple of weeks ago. The camellias, hydrangeas and the helleborus were hit pretty hard. The camellia dropped about 60 percent of its leaves. Hopefully they will all recover.
We seldom get frost so it does damage like you got, but if the frost doesnât last too many hours at a time, our plants recover (hellebore and camellias anyway).
