A sign that winter has arrived

are fields full of wild arum lilies. I have some in my garden, where this one comes from.

I thought I would make the flower the star by using a slight mosaic on the large fleshy leaves.

@wakelys These are wild ones Susan, they just pop up all over in the fields and when spring comes they are gone. One can also buy potted ones which are not wild and they grow all year :-)
