Wow! There's so much to like about this image ... from the clarity of the stamens to the tiny water droplets on the petals (and that hint of leaf in the top corner) ... as well as the way the focus seems to gently fade. Absolutely marvelous!
Instant Fav!!!Lynn, with your beautiful, soft and creamy flower images you inspire me to start a project -One week restricted to wide aperture.I want to learn creating such subtle color palette, which you always have in your photography!Absolutely adorable!
@steff I'm glad you mentioned that little green stalk in the corner. I've been thinking that it should not be there, so I'm glad to know somebody agrees!
Gorgeous pov and dof, lovely droplets, stunning bokeh, fav! I agree it would be better without the little green stalk. You could crop it, or use the clone stamp tool in Photoshop Elements if you have that. There may be similar tools in other editors, I don't know.
Wow Lynn! Everything about this shot is perfect. The colors are so soft and the perfect toned background. I agree, the little green stalk could be removed but the shot is still gorgeous.
@tristansmum Thanks for the tips on removing the stalk, Stephanie! I could edit it (clone) with PicMonkey, but I decided to leave it on this pic here on 365, so if people read these comments they can see what we're talking about. I can always edit my original if I'm going to do anything else with it. I really appreciate your comment. Thanks!
Beautiful Lynn. Gorgeous colour, tones, water drops and background. I would have cloned out the green in the top right as this is a little distracting. Fav
