OK, this is supposed to motivate me to get something done this year. The bare tree has been up a week, but everything else is still in the basement. Usually I love decorating, but I can't get with it this year. So I am making a promise to myself today, and putting it in writing on 365, that I will post a picture like this with this year's date on it very soon!
Your room was so beautifully decorated last year. I love your tree. I was the opposite this year, Lynn. We put up and decorated our tree the weekend of Thanksgiving. That was a first. I wanted to get an early start to savor the season a little longer.
A work of art, so pretty, I do hope you manage to get this year started soon! I just wait till the last minute, I'm not a Christmas fan, but don't mind looking at others! :).
You can do it!! Although my dd asked if we can do this and no, we can not. You have obviously had wonderful success last year and we can't wait to see what you do this year!!!
Beautiful picture ... even if it is from last year :) Once you start you will get in the mood. I had good intentions to start tonight ... but it didn't happen either. I want a full day where I don't have to rush - perhaps I will settle with a rum and eggnog just to get the spirit started :) Maybe that is what you need too :)
Don't worry once you get started you'll get in the mood. We just put the tree up this morning. Decorating will be in fits and starts over this week - I hope.
How beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can come decorate my house too! Well, not my house, but outside!!! I can't put things in our house, the Terrorists would tear them down and eat them or hide them under the bed! So I decorate outside. I have my lights!!! I promise nothing!! LOL

That is definitely a very nice holiday picture. It's greeting card worthy. I've not had a tree in my house for 5 years. Christmas is a very bad time for me. But it's nice that others are enjoying and getting into the spirit.

How pretty! I'm having a hard time this year too. Had a good beginning burst and have slowed down significantly this week. Maybe my winter doldrums came early this year.
