@pflaume: use the AF-S NIKKOR 55 - 300mm 1:4.5 - 5.6 G ED. I was lucky it came in the kit with my D5100. @mariemarie: I follow a number of mommy bloggers. @pflaume: it really is pretty astounding. I live in San Diego, my friend lives downtown in a high rise, I can get nice shots of the Hotel Del Coronado which is about 4 miles away. My sister also has this lens and she loves it. Good Luck!!
