This is another reason to come to the Cairngorms, these cheeky little characters. Keep your eyes open and you should be rewarded with at least a glimpse of them and there are many places that feed them and give you the chance to get up real close to wild Red Squirrels. They are smaller than the non native Grey Squirrel and so much cuter and more loveable.
