I saw these in the garden the other day and thought they might make a photo for here. They are seed capsules I collected and just left, meant to find a spot to plant them but not done that yet.My problem is I don't know what they are, they have self seeded out of something in the wild birdseed. I have tried to identify them but don't think they are native. The plant is nothing special but the seed cases when fresh are quite large, green turning brown with very sharp evil looking spikes which will draw blood. Ouch!
@juliesviewoflife Believe me they are! I cut a lot of others off the plant, dried and crushed them and got out little black seeds which the birds had. Much less painful just to go to feed shop. Lol.
