That is one of the first guidelines in the Photography Manuals about how to photograph birds. So I did !!
On a wild, wet, windy Welsh day I had gone hunting Kingfishers, of them, I never saw a single Sapphire Blue flash, again. Was I disappointed ? No way. I came away with a host of wonderful images. I know self-praise is just a form of boasting but I am really pleased with some of todays shots. I had a hard time picking this one.
It is a Great Tit ( Parus major).
