I was stood in this same spot earlier in the year, and posted a shot taken on the 15th January. However I thought that the photo I used was taken just a bit too late in the evening and I had missed the light. Thought I could do better, so here is my next attempt.
Both are lovely images, I really like the inclusion of the running water on the rocks. My favourite of the two, hard to choose but I think I prefer the first one.
@bailey Thanks Julie, to take this shot from this angle I am on a narrow little foot bridge over the stream, to include the rocks you need to get down low. Really low, so there I am lying on the bridge on my stomach, feet in the air, holding camera on very short monopod almost under bridge. I am in my own little world taking different shots and I don't hear over the running water a party of hikers approaching, first I knew one said " Stay there, we will step over you" and they did !
