Went Bee hunting today and got this little chappie busy feeding on a Dandelion flower. However when I tried to identify him I had problems, although he looks like a Bumble Bee, I think he is a Cuckoo Bee, possibly Psithyrus vestalis, any Bee experts out there ? Cuckoo Bees like the Cuckoo bird are social parasites and lay their eggs in the nests of Bumble Bees and the grubs are raised by the Bumble Bees. If you look closely you can see his tongue extended so he can feed.
