This bird is a winter visitor to us, and his name ? Well there is a clue in the picture. He is a Thrush and more specifically a Redwing (Turdus iliacus). They form large flocks with Fieldfares and other species of thrushes and strip the trees and bushes of the berries and then move on. There is a closer shot in my other album today.
