The last day of the Christmas Holiday's and I have brought Grandmonsters Willow ( left), and Kara into Liverpool to see the Poppies. We had a look around outside, then went inside St Georges Hall to have a look and a slice of cake.
Then across the square to the Walker Art Gallery, where there is a very good children's centre. I had not intended taking them around the main galleries, but as the toilets were upstairs, we ended up having a good wander around in them. They seemed far more interested in some of the exhibits than I thought they would be.
Then some dinner, a couple of shops, buying Christmas decorations for use in a few months time, and the train home.
They said they had had a good day out.

@rosiekind Thank you Rosie, no they are not twins though a lot of people think they are. Willow on the left is very small for her six and a half years, Kara is five.
