It's the 6th of January and everyone knows Daffodils are springtime flowers.
Yet here I was, in a park in Warrington,
wandering lonely as a cloud,
that floats on high over benches and swings.
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host of golden daffodils.
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Yes there was a large group of Daffodils blooming in the lovely sunshine, and not only that there was a Hover-fly busy flying around and visiting the flowers for nectar. I got quite a few shots of him right inside the flowers, but preferred this one of him coming into land.
Nature certainly looks a bit confused at the moment.
My apologies to Mr Wordsworth for mangling his famous poem.
