These are our common Mute Swan's, while I was away I also heard about some Whooper Swans, that had also bred and hatched two chicks. That is quite unusual, Whoopers are normally just winter visitors, and rarely stay to breed. I had hoped to go and photograph the Whoopers but just ran out of time.
