TRWYN DU LIGHTHOUSE

You might know this better as Penmon Point Lighthouse. On the south east corner of Anglesey, at the north entrance to the Menai Straits. It marks a safe passage between Anglesey and Puffin Island.
Switched on in 1838, it also has an eerie sounding bell, that tolls in bad weather as a fog horn every 30 seconds.
Great shot

What an amazing lighthouse! They're usually built on cliffs or rocks :)

@gilbertwood Thanks Denise, this is built on a small rocky island, but at high tide it all disappears.
